I needed to get my mind off of things in my life, and I can't stand not trying to improve myself.
Why I Love It:
It something you can do for yourself and see great results if you work hard at it.
How I Stay Motivated:
Listen to the right tunes. Set goals and demolish them.
BB Accomplishments:
When I got to my first duty station i weighed around 145, i was really skinny. Before I left for my last deployment I weighed 185. a gain of 40 lbs. in 2 years, pretty good i think.

What BrotherDan Is Up To:
Nov 21, 2009
BrotherDanchanged Weight from 186 lbs. to 189 lbs., a 3 lb. gain in 7 days
I want to get big and lean, simple goal. nothing more nothing less.
Goal (Long):
I will continue to workout for the rest of my life. I will lift hard and eat alot, try not to get stuck anywhere at any weight. Need to do more cardio.
yea well I'm back over this way. and as you can see you were right about the weight gain when I got home. took me longer to get back up there but still got up there again. oh well this time I've got a wife that wants to work out with me when we get home. hopefully that will help me keep it up this time.
I/We do PT 3 times a week. I'm high enough ranking I can influence what we do. But I have everyone run at least once, but sometimes twice a week. You can lift weights after you run or do cardio but not in lieu of doing cardio work. I lift mostly on base, but sometimes do training off base too.
Brother Dan, you have done some good work since you signed up! Definite proof consistency is the name of the game. Although It is awesome to see fellow military here, it is even better to see my fellow Airmen showing the world that is isn't just Army and Marines keeping in top shape!
I was about to go right now, but it's 0545 and it's about to get packed with PT-ers. It's dead at around 9 though, so... I'll put up today's workout. I'm going to do this full body routine i pulled out of M&F. "Frequent Fryer"
