How I Started:
I was overweight throughout high school, decided enough was enough in college. Started eating healthier and made use of my free membership at the college gym. I got down to a healthy weight and maintained it until finding out I was pregnant. Hello stress eating! Now I guess you could say I'm starting from scratch.
Why I Love It:
Being better than I was yesterday.
How I Stay Motivated:
Still trying to figure that out.
BB Accomplishments:
Losing 50 lbs. Unfortunately, I have to lose it all over again post-baby!
2nd place in the Online Bodybuilding Federation's "Slamming Spring Spectacular" contest: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=116875511
At this point I don't care how quickly I lose the weight (though I'm sure I'll be disapponted with anything less than 5 lbs a month). My main goal is to get back into a routine: eat smart, work out, stop making excuses, and take charge of my health.
Weight Goal:
I want to LOSE 50 lb
Bodyfat Goal:
15%

Overall, I'm really happy with what I've done in the last 4 weeks! Up until now, I feel like all the progress has been happening beneath all that mushy stuff, and now I can finally SEE something changing.
Heya!
Nope don't have a workout log...I just get to the gym, 30-45 mins of cardio (usually the treadmill) then weights. I do a back and shoulders/ chest/ legs split.
Have hit a plateau at the moment which sucks but at least I can run 20 minutes without passing out so I'm pretty jazzed by that.
:)
Good Luck in reaching all you future goals!Show the world BB.com rocks. Vote for me as model of the month at http://www.worldphysique.com/v otemale.html Thanks for your support!

Who cares what other people think :) Yea yea I know we all do... Think about those bastards every time you go to the gym. Instant motivation.
Hey! Gah things have been better. I was sick and totally fell off my routine. Didn't lift for two weeks and ate so crappy. Happily today I am back on track! Feeling much better. You doing good I hope!
I read your comment about celiac. Encourage your grandma to eat TOTALLY gluten free. Just because she doesn't have immediate symptoms doesn't mean the immune system isn't attacking her small intestine. And you should have blood work done as well. 1 in 10 of "first level" relatives will also have Celiac.
Thanks for reading my blog. I think I'm just insensitive to gluten. It's amazing how something so simple...like pasta, can cause so many problems! Good luck on your fitness goals!

Thank you!! I didn't want to put up pics this week...didn't think there was any change. But I really notice it in my back, which is fabulous because I'm always so self-concious about it. Now I can just be self-concious about my belly. Haha.
