I took a weight lifting class in high school and I was hooked! I still hold the records for the womens bech press, squat, military press, and power clean!
Why I Love It:
I absolutely love any type of physical activity! I feel awesome when I get a good sweat worked up.
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated by other fitness models/women, and I know I have to stay in shape to be a good trainer and to achieve my goals of competing in a figure competition.
Maintain and/or lose some muscle and lean out. I want to completely transform my body and be proud of who I am and my accomplishments.
Goal (Long):
I am going for a slightly different look. I want to lose 7-8% bf. by June 2009 and minimize my muscle mass to be able to be competitive in the fitness model division in FAME. To do this I have changed my training to a more functional/dynamic type workout, and have decreased my protein intake a little.
I finally got my motivation back and have an awesome coach that I'm working with (Erik Ledin of Leanbodiesconsulting) and I feel like I'm on the right track. I had my metabolism so screwed up that it didn't matter what I did-NOTHING would budge. Now that I'm working with Erik, I get to eat...
Right now I am doing cardio 7 days a week for 45 min. I vary the intensity and type I do daily. Monday is a Upper body/plyo type workout. Tue is a fitenss/plyo-agillity drill workout, Wed. is the same as Mon. but with different exercises. Thur is the same as Tue but different drills, and Fri...

Ya we're a select few, but I know another girl who has a comparable physique to yours but she's scared to compete. Maybe u could help motivate her. lol. Lookin great. Hope u kick some a** in your comps this year. Do this state, ur barely in proud! ttyl.
I just realized you are a trainer and nutritionist. I did't draw the connection with your last comment. I would like to work out with you sometime and get some pointers and get your imput. If that would be possible. You are deffiently one to say you have met your goals.
I hear you, it would be good to have a nutritionist and or a trainer, just to keep you on track and keep you motivated, so in answer to you question, I don't have one. I do study a lot about nutrition and have tried different programs. Ive worked out a lot with competitive bodybuilders in idaho falls, and always appreciate pointers.
My friends all compete in the NPC Utah. I'm not sure when Im going to compete. I need to get over the fact that when I cut fat, I get small. I have a size complex. I would like to compete at 200 lbs at least. So maybe not March, but the next one in the summer. That's my plan

How ironic! Yeah, this is where my job landed me after school. It is a small town, but I feel it has alot going on for it's size. Plus the gym I work out at is probably the coolest gym I have ever had a membership at.
glad you found the diet info helpful. If you need any help structuring a nutritional plan that is similar to what I describe, PM me, as that is what I do for a living, and the transition can be somewhat challenging for some people!
