When I Started:
How I Started: My dad bought me a weider bench and weight set when I was about 11 or 12. I messed around with it for a while, then decided to actually do a complete workout. I loved the way it made me feel, and I was hooked.
Why I Love It: I love the way I feel following a great workout. And I love the feeling I get from clean eating. I'm one of the few who actually LOVE being in and around the gym atmosphere. The sweat, clanging of the plates, music, fit and shapely bodies walking around.......all make for great motivation.
How I Stay Motivated: The pump that I know I'm going to feel during and after my workout is motivation enough for me to get to the gym every day. I'm also getting back into Muay Thai Kickboxing/boxing so I'm pumped to get that underway. It's also inspiring to log onto BB.com and read some of the success stories and look at the before and after photos. Seeing other people succeed is very motivating.

Main Goal: Other
Goal (Short): Get lean and ripped! By the time I'm 40, I want to look 30 again!
Goal (Long): I would like to lean out to get that hard, ripped look and gain just a little bit more muscle in the process. I don't really need more mass, but a little more muscle never hurt anyone! Plus, my little girl is 7 yrs old right now. I figure I have 3-5 yrs to get as intimidating as I can possibly get!!

Yes

No. I just check it myself or use the one on the treadmill.

Hi,

I will be relocating to Savannah, GA for work.  If anyone has ever been to that area and can shed any insight you may have, good or bad,  I would love to hear it.  Especially any info on gyms/fittness centers in that area.

Thanks so much hun! It was an awesome experience even though the show was a bit disorganized...lol. I will be doing another one, just haven't figured out which one. I want to focus on building mass right now though. Judges told me i too thin and needed to fill out. They told another girl the same thing too...lol.
