When I began to gain weight, I avoided pictures of myself. I faced the music in July 2007 when I saw a picture of myself on the beach. I was mortified at what I saw. I couldn't believe I had gotten that BIG. After a few more months of being depressed about what I looked liked, I decided to start my transformation. I figured part of my problem was my diet. So I joined Weight Watchers with the hope that my eating habits would change. And they did! I went from eating fastfood twice a day to not eating it at all. That was one of the HARDEST things I had to do. I knew if I wanted to be successful that I would have to incorporate more fruits, veggies, and lean meats into my diet. I started Weight Watchers in December of 07 and been doing it ever since. After I got my diet straight, I began to slowly get back into an exercise routine. I started out walking for 30 minutes/3 days a week. As time pasted, I pushed myself to do more. Currently, I am still not where I want to be. I would like to be able to run longer.
Why I Love It:
In the beginning, it was difficult to get started. I was tired all the time and all I wanted to do was watch TV and sit on the couch. After I began to make myself workout, it became more easier to stay motivated. I love to workout because it gives me more energy. I feel like I am accomplishing more in my days when I start out with a good workout. Overall, it has made me a happier and heathier person.
How I Stay Motivated:
Seeing pictures of my transformation is what has kept me motivated. Also, I love the fact that my fiance can't keep his hands off me. I love that feeling.
BB Accomplishments:
I've lost a total 18 pounds! Yeahy go me!

This was taken before I joined Weight Watchers. I weighed over 180 pounds. I hate looking at this picture!
This is me before I start on my weight lifting journey. I have a long way to go.
My primary goal is to lose fat and look hot on the beach.
Goal (Long):
All of my life I have been an athletic person. Over the past couple of years I have fallen off track due to stress and a crazy work/school schedule. I'm ready to shed the weight I have gained and to tone my body.
I survived my first full week of weight lifting that is. I weighed in at weight watchers Friday morning this week. To my surprise I stayed the same. I thought I was going to drop at least a pound. I mean meals were HEALTHY...gggrrrrrr.... I'm hoping in the next few weeks my body will get use...
