I've always enjoyed excercising but due to a busy and stressful schedule, have not made it enough of a priority in my life. A recent knee injury from a kick boxing accident really allowed me to reconsider how I was using my body and has motivated me to move forward to become better than ever.
Why I Love It:
Relaxes me, Eases Stress, Gives me an overall sense of Power and Strength, and I LOVE the gains.
How I Stay Motivated:
I think of how fortunate I am physically, remember how miserable I was after my surgery, and want to do anything and everything within my physical means. Also Music...it just isn't quite the same without my Ipod.
BB Accomplishments:
I've gotten through an ACL and Meniscus replacement with only 5% loss of muscle mass on my left (injured) leg only. I've gained muscle mass everywhere else and have still managed to lean out 15 lbs of fat since my initial injury in January 08.
hey there, i asked my PT about those treadmill drills and he smiled and told me that was a little advanced for me, but i would get there. i know i'm uncoordinated, but DANG!
I’m so glad to hear that you are on the road to recovery. Just make sure you take it easy for the first couple of weeks when you start jogging/running. Ha,ha your so funny......... girl let me tell you that we will always be thick in ALL T HE RIGHT PLACES,LOL,LOL,LOL :0) but as the for the rest of the body parts that are not supposed to be thick errrm......we’ll just have to jog it off ;-D xoxo
