My Pop got me into running when I was young so the ideal of being fit was always there. At 18 I joined the Army. The Army of course beat the thought of being strong into my soul. So I wanted to take it to the next level with the weights and some speed/edurance work.
Why I Love It:
I love the results!
How I Stay Motivated:
I keep thinking of my goals and how much better I could be.

Me at 175. I'm a lot stronger than My last pic and a bit heavier. Still working on the abs. They are stronger and definitely better than in the last pic you just can't tell
I want to gain about 15 pounds of muscle. In the process I'd like to become more athletic and increase my stamina. So in addition to lifting I'll be running and performing some speed workout.
Today I hit the basement and worked my upper body as a whole like I always do. I generally stick to heavy weight and compound movemments, you know presses and rows a few pull-ups. On my legs I do a lot of squats, deadlifts, lunges, and a few leg curls. My workuouts are really intense...
You know, it just blew me away that, without knowing, I was motivating soldiers all the way in Iraq, to stay in shape while deployed. Now you :) Humble thanks :)
Yeah, I gained 7lbs :D I'm aiming to get up to your weight..lol...but I might have to do a cutting phase in between. I seriously need to get on top of lower my body fat or else I'll just look soft...not good...:P
Ah cool. Well your abs are definitely coming through. I guess naturally you don't have to reduce your body fat much more to get those abs punching out. Do you do abs every workout?
