I have always been heavy/chubby. I've worked out since H.S. but I recently got really serious with the nutrition aspect. For once in my life before I get too old I want to be proud to take my shirt off at the beach, lol!
Why I Love It:
I find most sports boring and haven't excelled at them because I get bored with them before I can get good at them. Bodybuilding is different, I can stay in the gym working out for 2 hours per day...easily!
How I Stay Motivated:
I want to know what my abs look like! I see some totally ripped guys on this site and at the gym and I say to myself, "I want to look like him!". I like the attention too ;)
BB Accomplishments:
look at my progress pics, they speak for themselves.
my birthday this year, I will be giving myself 6-pack abs! best present a guy could get :)
Goal (Long):
Basically... I want to look good. I want to have 6-pack abs, and look healthy and muscular. But, I don't want to be a pro bodybuilder either. I just want to be healthy and do the occasional races to motivate me to keep up with my cardio. I am an endomorph so it is a constant challenge to stay lean with genetics working against me (all my family is very overweight, I think i secretly inspire them).
I made a decision over the week-end that I was getting too fat and that I needed to start up with my cardio again. My feet are 100% better from the triathlon and I actually sort of missed the intensity of running. I was surprised too, but I am going to be in the Race for the Cure which is...

That's cool. Good luck on that. BTW, your progress looks pretty good so far! Keep it up. I have the same goal. Trying to hit 240lbs at 10% BF or less. I'm decently lean right now and at 227 or so when I'm dry. Gotta keep going at it :(
mmm...what type of milk did you add to it? Because I'm actually cutting up and its working. I only take the muscle milk after a workout if i don't eat meat protein. or like as a mid meal. been a few days since i made a shake shake.
I want to gain 12 more lbs of muscle before I cut down for a show. Not to mention I have to practice my posing A LOT! But I will have shows within the next year.

I'm good, man! Just got back from the lake for the weekend. Did chest today and my rotators aren't hurting!! Time to start pumpin' out some weight! My abs are there in the morning, before I eat 5k calories! haha. Keep up that good work! I want to get updated pics, but I want to hit 230 first!
Well, I started my new 5k calorie diet about a week and a half ago.. so far it's been hard to get every meal in like I want, but I do what I can. I'm starting to finally gain weight. 230lbs here I come! Other than that just enjoying summer while I can lol.
Yeah it's goin pretty good man, I am currently taking a break though for about three weeks to give my body time to heal, i am going to come back strong!
