My Workout Philosophy View My Full Workout Program

My Workout Program

Im strength training 2-3 times per week with an emphasis on lifting heavier weight to gain some mass. The basic exercises like inclines,squats,pull-ups, dips and deadlifts will be used the most with some isolation exercises done to further increase the growth of that muscle. Sets are between 3-4 with reps in the 8-12 rep range and 1 min rest between sets. Cardio is done once per week in the form of boxing,kenpo karate, or plyometrics to stay conditioned. Ab work is done before each training session and calories are increased to help with the mass gain. .

MZ360 I Totally agree! love working with my own bodyweight..love the weights..but no greater feeling then hitting 70 pushups straight or being the only girl in my gym who actually does Dips and pullups (non assisted) haha I train with my daughter and she herself is one little badass love the 'rep comment' most people not necessarily women but also men fail to lift or train to their full potential imo..so yeah..I always go by "feel" instead of the 4 sets 10-12 rep crap" lol Dec 1, 2010 3:55pm
