How I Started:
I was always doing pushups and situps as a kid. I started lifting weights for soccer my junior year of high school. In fall of 2006 I was in a nasty car accident that wrecked my back and had to start over deadlifting 5lb dumbbells. I've superseded my old maxes and am now shooting for new goals.
Why I Love It:
I grew up very thin and am much happier being thicker and stronger. I hate being called "skinny"! I love feeling like I can carry my own weight and take care of myself. Sometimes a stranger will stop me just to tell me I look great - gotta love that!
How I Stay Motivated:
I'm very competitive so I'll often see number of another female my size and start working hard to beat them. Sometimes I'll watch a video on youtube that will psych me up. Other times when I'm not feeling motivated I'll go to the gym out of habit and I tend to work hard once I'm there.
BB Accomplishments:
Finally broke the 12" bicep barrier! Deadlifted 205 March 2009 and benched the almighty 135 May 2009.

Goal (Overall):
I want to gain 15lbs of muscle by May 2010.
Goal (Long):
I'd like to go back into football at a solid and fast 140. I also want 13" biceps and a full 6-pack. I want more than an "athletic" look. I want to be noticeably muscular. I also have lifting goals to hit including a 155lb bench, a 2x bodyweight deadlift, a 225 box squat and 5 pullups/dips with a plate.
