When I Started:
May, 2009
How I Started:
Iv'e always been in and out of fitness in the last couple of years, before that i weighed a whopping 95kgs at the age of 16 and was a size 20 (UK)-so have done pretty well in terms of cutting half the size (size 8-10 UK) but need to work off and lean up since started in the fitness industry! my diets pretty much ok, just a crazy addiction to chocolate which i have weened myself off. now i'm motivated than ever hence the reason for joining bodyspace and am looking forward for sharing motivational tips, etc as fitness and health is my life and I LOVE IT!
Why I Love It:
looking at the pics of how amazingly people have transformed themselves is an inspiration. i am fit in comparison to alot of other women my age and background as i like to challenge myself-now i'm out of the UK for a bit i have had to give up thai boxing which helped alot so creating my own workouts are a must and i love trialing out and rejuggling things until i get to my own state of perfection
How I Stay Motivated:
I think how i want to be and what i used to be and far i have come...also it keeps me in a great mood, mentally i'm a better person when i am eating healthily and working out-it destresses me
BB Accomplishments:
loosing half of my body weight over the years and being able to run a Military 10k assault course and come 15th place out of 185 women!

Always in good spirits and laughing away at my crazyness-this person motivates me to keep going no matter how lifes treating me- a great guy to be around-someone whose positive and finds the good in most things! Thankyou Babe! ;-)
How has bodybuilding and fitness helped and/or changed your family life?
Being into fitness and health has allowed my family to look more closely at their diet- my mother actually likes to eat some of the food i make but then she always has withdrawals of a fatty curry !
My eating habits/timings can cause restrictions within family/friends setting which is why fitness has also bought me to many people who adopt the same way of eating, etc which is great so i don't feel like an outsider when eating.
Cheat meals/days I have learnt to incorporate with family and friends Being into fitness and health has allowed my family to look more closely at their diet- my mother actually likes to eat some of the food i make but then she always has withdrawals of a fatty curry !

How has bodybuilding and fitness helped you in your career?
Wow-where do i start!? I was a chubby-no, lets put that right, a fat teenager weighing at 95kg at 16years old- never in my life had i imagined i'd get into fitness to the point of actually becoming a personal trainer!
After doing a degree in medical law at uni- i was unsure of what to do in life, did i really want to be a barrister
to cut the looooooong story short, i ended up doing a mini counselling course, working with street homeless heroin and crack users for 3 years until one day i was going for a run in my lunch break (by then i actually starting going to the gym as a result of dealing with relationship breakdown, etc)
my client saw me when i came back and asked whether he could come too (i was based in a hostel of all male drug users)- i said yes and incorporated this into our sessions- i don't believe in dwelling and talking of the past so this was perfect for clients- they had control and it was an ultimate confident booster for them and helped so many in recovery. We joined partnership with a leading outdoor fitness provider - British Military Fitness & from there i decided to do the Personal Trainer's Award, on completion in dec2008, i was offered a job and here i am in Saudi- a personal trainer for the Saudi Royal Family!Wow-where do i start!? just wanted to quickly share this fantastic bit of news (might not b a great thing to others - but i really really want to write a book - like a self help guide of my life) - and one of my great tutors from my Personal Trainers course mailed me today to ask whether she could share my story...
I just stopped by to wish you nothing but success as you work towards your fitness goal. Too many people think it can’t be done and so they don't even try but you will prove that with hard work and dedication it can be. I look forward to watching your progress. If there is ever anything that I can do to be of assistance please feel free to give me a yell. Good luck and keep believing & achieving.
LOL. I promise to share, scouts honor ;). I'm good. Hope your week is going good too. Got a little sore throat from running in the cold :(, but at least I didn't get sick. Got plans for the weekend?
Happy Birthday Nosheen! You look marvelous and you are still very young. No doubt you will continue to ever more than Wonder Woman. And thanks for the compliment too! :-)
Nope no piercings other than both of my ears. I kinda thought about my libre, or lip before but never my eyebrow...I was told that it would drop down when I got older if I did get that done.
Haha yeah I know what you mean. When I am around different types of people that have different types of accents, then I tend to pick up their accents. Ocmon, all bri-ish people talk all prim and proper, because you all are speaking the Queens English lol
You go spartan woooman. You do resemble her, but your way buffer haha.
Slow and easy goes the tortoise--you already know that lol. Can't wait for you to tell me you out did your old weight ;).
haha, your too kind. I'm lifting heavier to get a little bigger--I like feeling stronger too ;).
Back troubles huh. Hey, you did some deadlifts, thats good to hear! By the way, your looking great.
Actually Ive only passed through the UK never actually visited there, however I would love to. Ahh so you one of those Bri-ish accents and talk all prim and proper then? :)
Well everytime I have been to Saudi, it was with the military and I was limited to what I could see and do. But I can imagine how it might be...so I guess party planning it is : )
You need to post a video where you are talking so I can hear your accent, that would be fun. You could talk about a diet or your training or something.
Please do!!! It would be so much fun.
Wow arent you just a theme-party-planning lady :) A 300 themed party would be pretty sweet..I havent seen it as many times as you, but I have seen it many times. :)
Hey you. Lately, been trying to get leaner n bigger, but not gaining little or no fat(everyone's dream lol) Its for a modelling comp. Trying to figure it out lol. How have you been?
