Why I Love It:
I'd hate to think what I'd look like without it.
How I Stay Motivated:
Looking in the mirror, weighing myself daily, reading this website, and knowing that I've only got this one life to live and I want to make the most of it.
To be as fit as possible, and still live a balanced life, throughout my entire life.
Goal (Long):
I just turned 31, I'm not about to get in the habit of making excuses for myself to start gaining weight and getting lazy. I want to feel like I can compete with anyone, anywhere, anytime, at anything.
She's got a very realistic view on fitness and how to achieve it, and she obviously works hard at it.
When I don't feel like lifting, running, or eating right, I often think of some of the things I've read on her website. I also recommend her site to numerous people who confuse fit people, with people who like to go to the gym and don't like cake...
I make my own programs based on my schedule and needs at the time, although I stick to fairly basic programs that are very close to what's all over the web anyway.
So I weighed myself this morning and was suprised to see 170.2 lbs on the scale. I had just finished a morning run, and hadn't drank any water yet, but that's still really light... Scary light. I'm about as in good of shape as I've ever been, but considering that I'm normally about 10...
