fat and disgusted with myself , found the local gym and fell in love with the weights, reached a point where my next goal had to be to compete and now I just love competing and training to improve all the time
Why I Love It:
only competing with myself, no one is better or worse, they are just not me. I love reaching a new persoal best in at least one exercise every time I train
How I Stay Motivated:
I look in the mirror!!! And I have sponsorship for the Olympia from Healthy Life and the Bribie Island Bowls Club!! I will not let these fabulous people down!!!!
BB Accomplishments:
Working on them all the time, every training session is am accomplishment.

Just finished water loading, about to start depletion, weight is 59.5kg, skinfolds 32mm, body fat 6.9%.. still have water to drop so should come in at around 57kg which is 3kgs more muscle than my May competition... I am really happy that I have gained that much muscle in the 3 months between...
Thanks for the comment. You look great! I am enjoying the journey and know it has to be a lifetime commitment to get a hot body and keep it. It helps to have roll models in my age range to see their progress. Thanks for being an inspiration.
Thanks, will send you one soon, because if I leave it until tomorrow the busy-ness of life will get in the way and I will not get round to doing it! TA!
I did a heavy back workout today with calves and hamstrings. Gosh, I hate working hammies (one of my weak areas!) But I looooooved the back workout. I much prefer upper body sessions to lower body. Anyway, I e-mailed Kelli just enquiring at the moment. Am waiting to hear back from her. Does that mean it is getting serious......is that really the next step taken???? AAARRRGGHHH what have I done!!!LOL!!!!
Currently I am back into a 4 day split with 5 days of cardio. I have been sick for about 8 weeks (tried to lift during this time, but it just didn't happen!!!!) It feels so good to be back to normal again, but I have lost so much strength. I am building it all up again. First week back was terrible with DOMS but am feeling good now, and loving it!
Well, you certainly deserve (and will LOVE) that extra hour of sleep! Good on you for workin' your own programs. I have done my Cert 3 in Fitness, but I am still nervous about trusting my own programs for a contest prep. I am happy to do my own programs for my general training, but not for comp. Do you lift heavy often? I LOVE it!!!!
Somewhere in the Brisbane, Gold coast or Sunshine coast areas would be great. I have a great gym set-up in my own shed, so I just need the training programs, but I need the guidance in the nutrition and whole PREP side of things. Plus, the stage is soooooo daunting! But would love to follow my dream.
Know what you mean about food prep. I am the same....easier to stick to what you know than trying to experiment! Just got the dates for the Asia Pacific 2010 the other day and have already said to hubby that I would love to go again. Would love to be a competitor, but having trouble finding a good trainer who is not a million miles away!
Hey, well done girl!!!!! I am so excited for you. You must feel extremely proud of yourself. Your hard work has paid dividends!!!!! Congrats, congrats, congrats!!!! That medal is HUGE!!!!
Hey there! Just wanted to wish you luck for the comp. You have worked so hard and are a very courageous lady. Go get 'em at the Olympia! Was trying to make it to the event as a spectator, but due to current circumstances I can't be there. Good luck!!!!
