How I Started:
I have worked out since high school, but very inconsistently. In November 2007 I started a regular program and have been sticking to it pretty regularly. Starting in Spring 2008 I started getting more serious about Nutrition.
Why I Love It:
I love the feeling of getting stronger and being more fit
How I Stay Motivated:
Making gains, reading Muscle & Fitness and looking at other Bodyspace profiles. To see real people making real progress is inspirational to me.
BB Accomplishments:
I am far from being a competitor. My accomplishments to date are just the changes I see in my body.
Here is where I am after a few months of training pretty regularly. I wish I had one from last fall when I started. I feel pretty good about the progress I have made so far, but I still would like to gain a lot more size and definition
I wanted to hit 160 by my birthday (today). When I weighed tonight I was 159.8 - so close.

What do you do before your workout to get motivated and energized?
Honestly, my ride to the gym in the morning is about 30 minutes, and this is my morning prayer time. I think this is absolutely the best way to start the day, and once I am done pouring my heart out to God my mind is clear and I am ready to hit the gym with as much as intensity as possible. Workout Program:
I almost always work out in the morning before work. If I wait until after work there is too much opportunity for unexpected interruptions to pop up. I am usually there by about 6:00 and done by 7:20 so I can be to work by 8:00.
I lift Monday thru Friday, and I do each body part only once...
