I guess that I'd have to say I first started working out in high school. I joined the swim team in 9th grade and swam varsity through my senior year. I leaned out quite a bit from swimming, but wanted to put on a little size, so I picked up some weights and started lifting!
Why I Love It:
I love how I feel after a workout. My muscles are pumped, I'm sore, I'm tired and I'm sweaty, but it lets me know that I accomplished something, and I cant wait to do it the next day. I also like seeing my progress and setting PRs.
How I Stay Motivated:
I just keep my goals reasonable and clear. I want to be healthy in the future and look good too!

Do you tell your friends and/or family about your fitness goals?
Yes
Why or why not?
If they know what your goals are, they can give you a hand when you're running into plateaus or can even work out with you!
I want to move big weight!

(Check this forum for my daily lifts)
Working 5/3/1 on deadlift days, progressive overload on both bench and squat. I bench two times a week, Mondays being ME bench (varying styles ex: chains, bands, towel press)...
bulking until christmas. Lifts and weight are increasing nicely, but i injured my shoulder, so not sure how well i'll go on...
how about you ? good progress?
hey thanks for the heads up! well I kinda slacked off for a bit so now I'm focusing on lots of cardio..I really need it..lol. Hope all is well with you! are you bulking for winter soon?
hey man whats up. I was wondering what other lifts i should practice on, besides the main 3 (squat, bench,Deadlift) that would help increase my weights on THOSE 3 lifts? And a copy of your lifting schedule, if you could. Thanks! Oh and check the Animal bodygroup comments. :P
