When I Started:
How I Started:
Well I started lifting seriously in high school when I was playing football. I went on to play 3 years in college and ended up getting pretty big(6'0" 235) and strong(400+ bench 550+ squat 315+ power clean). I played two years in juco and then went on to play at Delta State University. Never heard of it? Yeah cuz its in the middle of NOWHERE. I absolutely hated it and I quit in the spring of 2006. I continued to lift for the summer and ended up getting as strong as I'd ever been. However, after that summer I went cold turkey on the lifting. I drank a good bit, partied more, gambled and played poker, ate whatever I wanted, and actually enjoyed it for a while. Then one morning I looked in the mirror and hated what I saw, so I went back to the gym. That was at the end of this July(2007) I guess. I'm getting it back now, still not there, yet want to soon surpass my old stats
Why I Love It:
I do it for me...not for you and not for them...not for him and most certainly not for her
How I Stay Motivated:
Results!!! I never have been a fatass but sure felt like one after that year break I took. Dont wanna get like that again.
Alright so I've been back in the gym for about 5 or 6 weeks now, and I've made some great gains. My endurance, strength, weight, and size have all increased. The large fat deposit which I obtained during my gym absence has reduced greatly, but I still have a good bit of fat covering...
I never do the same workout twice. I do a little bit of everything and constantly switch my styles up. I always make sure I get at least 2-3 days of rest for a certain body part. Leg days, core lifts, and olympic lifts are always number 1 priority(if i dont adhere to that one, I will...
here's that vid of the chest training Milos Sarcev does bud... real good stuff... i have a stubborn chest and this definitely helped make some nice progress:

It's Hypertrophy Specific Training. If you search for it you'll find tons of results. There's even a HST website that gives you all the details on how to set your system up. http://www.hypertrophy-specifi c.com/hst_index.html I saw my best results from that program. Best of luck!
Alright another Miss. bro! Yea I know about the lay offs. I laid off for a while after getting married. I use to be in really good shape. The longer you lay off the harder it is to get back in shape! Good Luck!
