How I Started: I was looking for something fun & productive to do while I was in the US Navy and not constantly spend money.
Why I Love It: It's good for me. I follow the sport closely. I want to walk the walk as well talk the talk.
How I Stay Motivated: Remembering where I came from and where I want to go.
BB Accomplishments: I managed to lose about 30 pounds over the winter and I want to proceed from there. I am not a competitor and have no intention of ever being one but I am a good fitness & physique photographer. I have attended and/or photographed over 300 events. Where as I don't want to compete I want to look more like I belong.

Goal (Short): To be able to "run" my block (a little short of 1 Mile), 200# bench, 5 complete pull ups
Goal (Long): I want to bring down my bodyfat, increase muscle size and improve shape and turn these health & fitness into a regular habits.
Weight Goal: I want to LOSE 15 lb

What do you think about people who "grunt" loudly while working out? Do you do it?
Fine if you reaally need it but terrible if you are just showing off.

I just thought that I would drop you a line to tell you that my wife, and your friend (bodyspace: judimax) is having a birthday on Saturday April 5th and is turning 48. I think she looks fantastic for not only 48 but for any age, but then again I am biased. If you get a chance she would be surprised (and love it) if you would drop by and wish her a Happy Birthday.
