How I Started:
About a year ago, after a long, hard look in the mirror I realized that I was extremely out of shape. I picked up Oxygen magazine in the grocery store one day and quickly became fascinated with the fitness models/bodybuilders which led me to recently join a gym. I am slowly but surely improving my physique and I'm so excited to see what I will have accomplished a year from now!
Why I Love It:
The feeling I get from going just one more rep or doing just 2 more minutes on the elliptical when I think I physically can't take anymore is better than any junk food could ever taste! I love seeing that I can make my body change when I really put my mind to it.
How I Stay Motivated:
My main motivation comes from knowing what my body used to be (over 200lbs) and knowing that I never want to look or feel that way again. My fiance definitely helps me stay focused. He joined the gym with me which is a big push. Also, my brother has lost over 100 lbs over the past year and seeing his transformation definitely helps me stay motivated!

I've never been one of those girls who just wants to be skinny. For the past 8 years, I've felt like I don't look on the outside how I feel on the inside. I want to be a muscular, strong female who can keep up with the guys in the gym and then some. My goal is to look at my body and be proud, to be fit and to set an example for those around me that you don't have to settle with what you've got if you just commit to pushing yourself a little further everyday. I know that with dedication and the right mindset that I will transform my body into the ripped, tight body I constantly crave.

I feel that I'm now an encouragement to some of my family members who live sedentary lifestyles. If one person I know begins a fit lifestyle because of me, its all worth it!

I recently started taking creatine and even though I was skeptical at first, I have to say that I am definitely feeling it! After just a week, I have more oomph in the gym and feel stronger. My muscles are definitely growing...this is just what I've been needing. So, anyone thinking about...

I'm so ready to go on this cruise in April. I need a vacation, LOL! I am also very proud of you for all the hard work you have put in to achieve your goals.
