When I Started:
Jan, 2007
How I Started:
Got tired of carrying my weight around and knew it wasn't healthy. Changed my eating habits in 2007 and lost about 30 lbs as of spring 2008.
Suddenly and unexpectantly I lost my motivation and searched the internet for a lifeline. I found it here at BB.com. Since joining I have lost another 30 lbs and gained more strength physically and mentally than you could ever measure on the scale.
Healthy living is a part of my every day life and it feels good.
I can never truely repay those who help me here so I will pay it forward. My ultimate goal is to become a personal trainer and help the obese like me (and anyone else :) ), change their lives.
Why I Love It:
Feel stronger and it really motivates me further. Also helps boost my spirits !
How I Stay Motivated:
Always cruising around BB.com to see all the people who are struggling like me or have accomplished so much. Everyone is so supportive.
BB Accomplishments:
None.... yet :)

Taken in 2005 at my heaviest weight, so plagued by difficulties in every area of my life. I need to lose the "baggage" I physically carry.
January 2007 I started the journey to a healthy body.
Can't get rid of the dam rolls but they are deflated more compared to Jan 09
This is a life long goal so I will set no date or time limit. Would like to be in near competition shape for personal satisfaction. :) Even if I don't get to that stage, i will have lost 150 lbs and far more healthy than i am now !
I have always felt like a bodybuilder in a fat girls body and have a strong desire to kick box. I plan on starting in on that dream soon.
I want your honest opinions on this. It's not an easy decision, don't get me wrong. The first time I contemplated it I felt like a failure. Now...it's almost necessary.
For those who have checked out my blog, you know that I have lost about 80lbs. Great yes. A long and exhausting...
Hello Ms Santa! I am sending out a mass comment to all of my mutual friends. I hope all of you are focused and keep on keepin on! With the upcoming holidays, we need to stay in check and look our best for friends and families. Good examples ya know? Stay ACTIVE! KT
Thanks so much for thinking of me! I've been traveling for work very heavily the past 4 weeks and just haven't had a lot of time to spend on the forum. But, I still am eating well and am doing much more cardio related stuff since that's what the hotels offer. I truly appreciate you thinking of me and I hope that you are still pushing towards your goals. I know you said summer was tough for you - its over now!
Hey I'm doing good. I had to take a week off from lifting which was killer for me I feel so soft and squishy now but that's over and I'm getting back to it today. I'm super excited. How is everything going with you?
Same here, been off the wagon the past month but back on it and serious on catching up with you! You are seriously kicking ass by the way, keep up the good work
Isnt that freakin depressing?? Oh my God, I raised the kids, youngest is 9, now Im supposed to curl up, get back pain, migraines, take antidepressants and just wait for menopause and retirement?? Tell them thats so wrong!!
