Transform myself from a fat, docile suburbanite to a lean, mean, Hot Animal Machine!
Goal (Long):
Since getting married in 2004, I've had a difficult time staying lean. My weight has fluctuated from 215 to 240, but typically hovers at about a chubby 230. As a member of the United States Air Force, I`m not required to maintain a specific weight. However, every year I take a physical training test and the past few years have been difficult. A waist measurement is taken along with a cardiovascular and a muscle strength test. For men, 30% of the entire test points come from the "body composition" portion. Of course, a waistline of 36+ inches can be detrimental. Even if you can run a mile an a half in 11 minutes or less, complete 50+ push ups and sit ups in less than a minute, a large waist can quickly drag your score down.
So, to make a long story short, my goal is to lose 50 lbs by March 2009.
...I've lost about 8 pounds. I've been using a combination of endurance and power routines, but have been skimping on the cardio. For now, I lift 5 times a week and alternate between power days and endurance days. Universal's Animal Cuts have also been very helpful with curbing my appetite...
I just dropped by to wish you continued success. My wife and I achieved body transformations by following the 12-week Body for Life program. We believe you can make your fitness dreams come true. My wife (bodyspace: judimax) went from a size 12/14 to 4/6 and I lost over 50 Lbs and went from 36 to 10% bodyfat in only 12 weeks with the assistance of the BFL program. Challenge yourself and try to push a little harder each and every workout. Contact us if you wish more info.
