Overall Goal: Get rid of excess body fat and regain muscle mass that was lost while sick (3-4months)

When I Started:
How I Started:
I've always loved working out. Started heavy lifting in high school, though I didn't have much direction. Then I got an Army scholarship to college and spent 4 years trying to lean out, without much success. Since I've been in Iraq, I've been much more successful at changing my body composition.
Why I Love It:
I love working out because I get to watch my body change as a result to all my hard work. Not many jobs in life where you get such an awesome feeling when you see the output of your input!!!
How I Stay Motivated:
I've got great support around me. Being around the military is a huge plus for me, because everyone is focused on being their best physically. That pyschs me up!

Get rid of excess body fat and regain muscle mass that was lost while sick (3-4months)
Goal (Long):
I got down to 185lbs before I got sick in Mar/Apr. I wasn't able to exercise and because of the medication I was on, I wasn't able to eat as clean as I preferred. Well thankfully, I only gained 5lbs... but I lost a lot of muscle mass! So the goal is to start slow in all areas, cardio, strength, and overall conditioning.
January through March, I suffered multiple pulmonary embolisms (blood clots0 in my right lung, which almost killed me and wreaked havoc on my lung capacity. So... as of June, I was cleared of all clots, and was given the thumbs up to start working out again. All the progress, I had made over...
Hey,, hope leave was good. I'm doing ok was been trying to drop smoe weight for the show but its coming off way to slow. Don't think I'll be in shape for it.
