When I Started:
How I Started:
I was the chubby wheezy kid but was always in sports like swimming and waterpolo....even though I rather sucked. Kept active all through college and beyond in a offhand, still eating crap kind of way. In Jan 2005 I wanted my roomate to quit smoking so I asked her to train for a marathon with me and went in 6 months from not being able to run a mile to completing a 1/2 marathon in April and a full in June and went on to so 2 more halfs, a triathalon and another full marathon in Vegas in December. That december I also went to watch the FAP Nationals in Hollywood...and was hooked. So I found a coach, learned how to eat, have structered lifting and did my first show in april 23 lbs lighter than when I started in Jan. Since then I have done a few more shows but have never came is as well as the first time because, well I wasn't doing everything my coaches told me to...funny that. So I must must must get my head straight and get back to where I was....but better.
Why I Love It:
It keeps me sane, gives me focus and drive and is my think time.
How I Stay Motivated:
I never again want to be what I was. My husband and I started celebrating out wedding about 6 months before it happened....I got a food belly. So now the honeymoon is over...literally and it's time to pull myself back on track. My husband motivates me to go after what I can do. He's very much a believer that saying I'll try is giving an excuse in advance. I'm currently gathering my motivation because frankly, I have had none and don't recognize the body in the mirror.

I want to bring my BF% down to a consistant 12-14% during to off season and be able to bring it in @ 8-9% for competitions. I want to add about 5 lbs of muscle to my upper body, mainly back and shoulders. And I want the the glute-hamstring tie-in most of all. I also want to be able to rep out pullups, mostly beacuse it looks cool. ;-)
Oh my goodness, has it really been a year and a half since I posted something in my blog!
Well gee. I working on leaning down and finding the passion and dedication to do it once again. I have an epic coach who preaches about being consistant above all else and I do believe he's got...
