Overall Goal: My main goal is just to live a better lifestyle. Loosing fat, getting stronger and more fit are the side effects of changing my lifestyle!
Fit Status:
Been going to Gold's for the last few weeks and back into a program. Feeling more motivated now.
I have been around working out since I started playing football in grade school. Started lifting in highschool but never continued after. Started working construction after highschool which kept me in somewhat of shape, still overweight. Then took an office job and my weight went up to 267lbs in 2004. That's when I found I had to get back to working out. I lost 54lbs and weighed in at 213lbs. Had two shoulder injuries and two knee surgeries and saw my weight go back up to 256lbs over the next 4 years. Went back to the gym in Oct 2008 and really enjoy that time now more then ever.
Why I Love It:
I like working out because it is "my time", no phones, bosses, or any other distractions, it all about me at that time. Feeling better, never tired or run down. The feeling of accomplishment when the weights increase.
How I Stay Motivated:
Seeing the improvements in strength, lower heart rate, better lung capacity, and overall feeling better.
BB Accomplishments:
Getting my wife involved in her own exercise program. :D
warpedupdated Fit Status "The last month has not been the best. Wrapping up my old gym membership and starting a new one. Did not have any real motivation."
My main goal is just to live a better lifestyle. Loosing fat, getting stronger and more fit are the side effects of changing my lifestyle!
Goal (Long):
I have learned in years past that dieting short term is not for me. Two years ago I dropped more then 50lbs but could not live life they way I did long term. I have come to grips that I needed to find what works best for me. I lift heavy 3 times a week and fit in a cardio session 3 times a week as well. My diet is good but far from perfect, but I can live like this and I am healthier, stronger and have lost 16lbs in 4 months. I have used the time in the gym as "my time"!
What type of nutrition plan are you currently following? Give full details.
I try to eat as clean as I can but life sometimes gets in the way. I do eat a few things that are not optimal but it something I can do for the rest of my life.
The last few weeks I have not been giving it my all. I have been eating more crap then normal and missed a few workouts. This is coming to an end! I am issuing a challenge to myself to go the next 4 weeks eating clean within my calorie range and also to get my weights in Monday, Tuesday...
My goal is to lose 40 lbs.I will begin my exercise program on Monday.Weights 4 days a week and cardio six days. I have not decided on split yet but I will figure that out. I just need to get started
