How I Started:
I moved to NYC last September and gained 7 lbs in 7 months. I knew I needed to nip this in the bud...or else what would I look like in 30 months?! I hired a trainer who started me on the right path with boot-camp type training.
I now work on my own and with training partners at the gym and have really rounded out my fitness regimen to include a healthy balance between strength (weight training), flexibility (yoga), agility (functional training), and cardiovascular health (spinning, walking, running).
Why I Love It:
Because of the results!
How I Stay Motivated:
With the support of my gym and bodyspace friends, knowing I am a motivation and positive role model for others, and by weighing each choice I make as to how it will affect my health...
BB Accomplishments:
I completed my first two competitions two weekends back-to-back in October 2007.
WNSO Mike Kocsis Northeastern Classic - 2nd place bikini model
My biggest accomplishment so far was getting down to 10% body fat and dramatically improving my strength.

I searched "pregnancy" at BS and came up with your page. Very inspirational! I too am prego at 15 weeks. I am having a really hard time with my nutrition (and it's impacting my energy for workouts). I am wondering if you would share your typical diet during this time. I want to eat clean, low-carb as possible, but I'm afraid to hurt the little one. I asked my OB for her advice, and frankly she had very little. Thanks so much... and Congratulations!!! :)
