When I Started:
May, 2009
How I Started:
I was 14 years old and obese. My secondary built a gym and with the help and encouragement of a few PE teachers I found that I liked pushing weights and continued until the age of 24 where I became fairly accomplished lifting 120 Kilos on the bench for reps and 170 on the squat.
At 24 and a Pedestrian I was hit by a car breaking a few ribs, rupturing tendons and muscles in upper legs and torso and as a result had to have my hip resurfaced...
At 28 I Married my wife where career re-training in to IT took precedence and the arrival of son (Jack) at 30 meant all money and time went that way.
I attempted several "comebacks but recurring injuries ensured they stayed a pipe dream.
Now at 32 my son is nearly 3, my injuries are all either under control or long forgotten.
I want to at least try to get back in to shape.
I only have time for two early morning workout's Tuesday and Wednesday and a Saturday and Sunday workout. As I have meetings sometimes well in to the night.
I hope this biography isn’t too detailed.
Why I Love It:
I'm not a really a team player and refer to zone out listen to music and the results.
How I Stay Motivated:
the hardest part is motivation. I love body building but something always conspires against me , whether it be injuries, illness, time or money !!
BB Accomplishments:
120Kg on the Bench
170 on Squat.
Looking great for a number of years way back when !!
Five weeks ago now my elbows started hurting when lifting weights. tried light weights missing arm workouks, massage and have resorted to taking two weeks out. Resting which I hope will be enough to heal and move forward again. I remember from days of old the biggest mistake...
thanks! ya, the dieting is the hardest part for me. especially since this is my first show, but I know it will all be worth it. I just have to keep on keepin' on lol. I'll keep you updated! make it a great day!
always,
Jordan
i use fitsync.com which i believe should be fine for blackberry too. it is good for creating your workouts online and you can either print it in a form for the gym or your can use your phone to enter your stats at the gym.
i also use weight-by-date which is also phone/ computer program. it is great for tracking workouts you did and what you ate and your measurements. it calculates bodyfat, calories burned, etc. its the one i use most.
both are on www.handango.com
