This picture was taken 3-1/2 yrs before I started working out. I wasn't in or out of shape, just somewhere in between. Best described as skinny fat build.
Trying to break my easy workout habit, while staying injury free.
Goal (Long):
I want to be in great physical shape. Looking for the athletic body, not pro huge, not small, but big enough. My goal weight is whatever it is after a lifetime of weightlifting. I should have some decent (recreational weightlifting) muscles by then. My commitment to the slowest bodybuilding plan of all times is 100%.
Plugging along. Motivation is going good. Workouts are going good. Got an excellent pump going tonight. Shoulders doing good, maybe I've learned enough not to make them mad at me. Whatever the case, haven't had any set backs lately. Still on the slowest getting jacked plan of...
German Volume training. Love the workout but on hold for the moment with RC issues.
The best GVT routine is commonly referred to as Optimized Volume Training. (OVT) This variation of traditional GVT involves a redistribution of the 100 reps you use. Rather than working each muscle group with...
hey whats up man? hows lifting and training been going? I can get you a deal on great fat burners and pre and post workout supps as well as new great tasting whey protein powders, hit me up if ya want some man!
Thanks mate for your support - appreciate it. How's your training coming along and can relate to staying injury free, my strength phase caused me to pull a tricep muscle and that injury seems to linger :(
3 years? no no you can and will get there before that my friend. I was out of training for almost a year (went to Afghanistan) so don't worry with hard work and discipline you'll get to your goal sooner than you think, make it a lifestyle and make sacrifices for the good of bodybuilding, don't take bad decisions like me hehehe, good luck and you seem serious so I'm looking forward to your progression.
Bailed on your belly quest eh Drew? Just cuz of that I put my Dragon Flag photo back up!!! LOL. Gr8 hearing from you again...keep at it man...good luck in the running season....later..
The 3 exercises I use are Thors Hammer DB Rotations, Reverse Grip EZ Curls & Rear BB Wrist Curls. For all of those I start @ about a 10 Rep max. I go kind of light because it's an odd /small muscle group, you coudl do drop sets to compromise...
go go 200! I really don't do much for lats, I just do Smith behind the back shrugs about once a month. My lats are the body part I don't really have to train. I wish it were legs :P I would just shrug in every form possible though, if you want big ones.
