What do you do before your workout to get motivated and energized?
I like to use my blood leve results as motivation. Also reading the Muscle and Fitness rag to help me get some pointers, I rarely use the same routine and keep it mixed up

Do you sometimes use energy enhancing supplements?
Yes
Which supplements do you take? When do you take them?
Well after several months of layinf off and struggling with my Blood suger constantly high I got off my ass and started working out again. Over the last couple of years the Dr.at the VA and a civilian Dr had been trying to lower my tryglicerides as they were around 600 and my LDL...
Sorry to hear about the vacation your brother in law in going on. I hope that it goes by fast for him. It seems like it was never gonna be over for us...but that last month flew by. I just kept us all soo busy... I wish him a safe tour and quick return home.
You are doing great with your Bloodsugars and keeping it under control. You should be very proud of yourself!!! My husband has survived his deployment and is making his way home. He left his camp in Afghanistan moving to a bigger one. And awaiting a flight and a few more stops until he gets to the US. Hoping he'll be here before the end of the month. Thanks for asking. I'm trying to keep running and us all sane. Take care.~Stacy

And good for you! i cant even imagine the challenge it would be, but clearly your doing great :) Keep it up
Thanks Mike for the nice words concerning my husband and all the military. I love them all. Just heard from him...unfortunately he's been a busy guy over the last few days (he's a surgeon)-but they do also take care of the local Afghan people. I can't wait to hear all his stories when he returns.
Hi Mike. Great goals you have. And I'm sure an inspiration to many diabetics. I see lots of them in the emergency dept(b/c they weren't taking care of themselves). Keep up the good work at keeping yourself as healthy as possible. Thanks for adding me to your friends. ~Stacy
Hi! Good for you! You've taken control of your health. I have many diabetic relatives and I know how important fitness is in staying healthy/strong. Happy to be your friend!
Morning! Thanks for the friend request. Looks like you're doing great and seeing some awesome health benefits. Always motivating to hear!! Have a great day :)
Hi there.
Something interesting I would like to share with you: Seeing that you are a diabetic..if you use any Vanilla shake, add a little cinnamon to it. Not only does it taste great (milktart flavour), cinnamon is also great for diabetics to keep sugar levels normal.
Hope it helps! Good luck
Thought your BB accomplishment was funny. I've had some scary moments with that, esp when I try a heavier weight for the first time. LOL! Thanks for the laugh! How is your training going?
