I was a gymnast when I was young, and after I had my daughter I went back to gymnastics to lose the weight. I got back in shape very quickly, but decided I wanted to be able to target certain areas for change and muscle growth. That's when I joined a gym and hit the weights!
Why I Love It:
It is a stress reliever for me. I can throw my ipod on and tune everything else out!
How I Stay Motivated:
Well, I don't weigh myself at all. I occassionally test my body fat, but I basically go by how my clothes fit.
BB Accomplishments:
... stay healthy and in shape??? That's my basic goal. But I have also learned that I'm pretty muscular by nature, and my body can start to look boyish if I work certain muscle groups too hard/too often. I have a tendency to want to lift really heavy, and have to be cautious so I stay looking feminine!
