When I Started: Mar, 2003
How I Started: My dad was a big time bencher. In the 80s he benched 350 while weighing about 170. He was all natural. He wanted to get back into it and i decided i wanted to lift with him. So i began training with him, mainly on bench.
Why I Love It: I love lifting weights because of the way people look at me. There is no better feeling than someone asking if i need a spot with 225 and kinda laughing before i pop up 295 or 315. Also i love feeling strong.

Goals:
Main Goal: Gain Muscle
Goal (Short): Gain size and cut up...
Goal (Long): I am currently deployed to the desert. I am trying to gain a some size and strength and cut up in the process. As far as strength I'm at a sticking point and my lower back has been a set back. On my last deployment i pulled my hip out of place doing deadlifts and it was 4 months before i found that out. Ever since then i have had a real tight lower back. I'm not sure if its weak or just tight or both so im addressing that right now. Any suggestions on that would be great.
Weight Goal: I want to GAIN 10 lb
Bodyfat Goal: 8%

I'm getting frustrated with pushups. I bench 315 and do both lat pulldowns and seated rows with 240 Lbs but yet after doing sets of 20 pushups I have sore lats the next day...I hope it doesn't mess up my back day...
