How I Started:
I went skiing for the first time in my life and I realized that I had no muscle endurance and very little strength. I decided I didn't want to be a weak, feeble woman in our retirement years so that Vic and I can still do all the things we've dreamt of doing.
I've been with my trainer for 17 months now and have made huge strides in my fitness goals.
Why I Love It:
I love how good I feel when I work out, endorphines rock! I love lifting, I like being able to play with the big boys. I like feeling strong.
How I Stay Motivated:
Visualzation: see myself how I want to look. Read articles, stay informed, educated on fitness & nutrition. Surround myself with like-minded people.
BB Accomplishments:
sticking with it! I've never done any strength training in my life before I turned 40. I'd never done any regular exercise of any kind prior to turning 40 either. I'm proud of my determination.

This was taken at my heaviest, non-pregnant weight. I was 157 lbs, very unhappy and unhealthy. I knew I had to do something before it got any worse. Yet, it still took me 4 years to get really serious about it.

Goal (Long):
I want to inspire others. Men, women, teens to live a healthy life of optimal fitness & nutrition. I'd like to especially inspire other women and mothers over 40. I am living proof that you can achieve a healthy, hard body after having children and/or after the age of 40 even if you've never exercised a day in your life before then.
Jamie is the first fitness model I came across in my internet search for fitness and nutrition. She has a bubbly personality and she has the body I want.

Great idea! Have a look at www.modelmayhem.com and see if there are any photographers in your area who are interested in physique photography and will shoot with you for free - for the mutual experience, at least put up a profile there, you just never know! Maybe look for a photography society in your area and see if an amateur is interested in getting some experience with you! Let me know how it goes!
oh I've dealt with that, it is really common and really easy to tweak!...good mornings (keeping back straight and bend at the waist) with a light weight barbell across the shoulders help me to stretch out the lower back and that helps a lot!

Diet has been good the last 2 weeks had got off track for a couple of weeks. Workouts are going great switched it up and going with one to two bodyparts per workout and trying out my own version of FST-7 workouts and I am liking it alot:)
