Feb, 2007
How I Started:
This time? I pulled all the clothes, boxes, toys, off of my equipment in the garage, and started hittin it on a scheduled basis.
Why I Love It:
It changes the way you think. I don't mark time by days anymore. Each day is an opportunity to create now, different workouts and meals on different days. You become more efficient with your time, because you need all you can get.
How I Stay Motivated:
Look at my before pictures, and look at the pictures of other members who offer me support.
BB Accomplishments:
For the first time in my life, I am actually building a chest. That has always been my hardgainer area.

I want to lose fat and increase lean muscle mass as much as possible by my 30th year high school reunion in July 2010.
Goal (Long):
In high school, I weighed 215 my senior year (1980) while playing football. I remained in good shape for 10 or so years, but then got lazy. In 1993 I weighed 236, but it was primarily fat. I quit drinking, started a strict Fit for Life diet, along with alternate heavy lifting and heavy cardio. In 1996, I weighed 185 with great muscle tone and only 8% body fat. I'm 6'4". Over the past 3 years my weight has yo-yo'd from 220-270. Right now I'm 3 weeks into my serious attack on looking like a lazy fat ass. I'm 237 today, down from 245. I want to be at 210-215 again by may 30th, or the opening of the neighborhood pool. My garage is converted into a near complete gym.
Update......I am no longer seeking to weigh 210-215. My 30th reunion is in July of 2010. This date is my motivational call.
What type of injury was it? How long were you injured? How did you recover?
Severly strained or tore both shoulder rotator cuffs. LOOOOOONG recovery time. PT with super light weights. Time off had greatly helped. I can now sleep on my right side, and can go a few hours on my left.Severly strained or tore both shoulder rotator cuffs. LOOOOOONG recovery time. PT with super light weights. It's been a long time, and to be honest, I didn't know if I would be back on the websight. I suffered injury to both of my shoulders. Been to doctors and PT's. They said I either tore or severly strained one rotator cuff, and strained the other one. I wasn't able to sleep more than an...
22nd century lady.. wow ;) thanks so much for all the encouragement! I'm so glad you feeling better and putting safety first, I always do the same because its not worth it getting an injury. I hope you have a great week!
You may want to add a good multivitamin and some Zinc & Magnesium before bed to increase natural testosterone. Im sure you know to eat every 3 hours to keep the metabolism up and a constant flow of protein. I eat about 7 times a day. You wilabsorb more protein first thing in the morning so load up!
I would take it 30 minutes apart from the whey. That is a great protein..you choose good products. The No Xplode is the best thing you will every buy. A guy on here said it keeps him from taking steroids! I take the NX 30 minutes b4 with an Animal Pack Multi. The I take the protein with me and drink it while I lift. Then hit the Cellmass. Thats the way to do it.
Do this buy the No Xplode for your pre workout and then get the BSN Cellmass for your postworkout. This has all of the creatine and gluatamin along with a ton of other good things to help you heal and grow. They use ce3 which is a new creatine that you dont have to load. The cheaper route is the pure creatine monohydrate, but it gives most people stomach problems.
Just curious about your Max Deadlift and Barbell row #'s. Are you sure it is 56# dead? Dead is usually about 75-80% of your squats. These are your top 2 strength moves. Bench looks good though. 207 is REAL strong for rows. Are you sure you are critiquing the right exercise {bent over barbell}? Just figuring rows should be about half your squats. Anyway, good start!
