I used to body-build in high school and absolutely enjoyed it. I just got out of the swing of things after the babies. After the babies I started getting all over body pain, I have never told anyone and sometimes have really bad days where it hurts to walk, but I suck it up. Working out helps me out by strengthening my joints, muscle fibers, tendons ,etc. The only thing that has helped my joint pain are my supplements, thank God i have the money for then when I need them, in the past i have had to do without. Being in the military didn't give me much occasion to be on downtime, so now that I am out things have become more manageable. I workout to keep up, stay well, and hopefully achieve dreams!(Amatuer Naturals 2008!!!)
Why I Love It:
It makes me feel great, energetic and helps me with my core strength. (Carrying babies around and all that) Plus, I am a reservist and since I left active duty, I have to PT on my own!
How I Stay Motivated:
I remember that I want to be a good example for my kids. I live in California and we go to the pool everyday! You know, when you have to put on a swimsuit everyday, you stay motivated! LOL
I also am a prior service active duty Army, now a reservist in the Army.
You had BETTER stay motivated!
BB Accomplishments:
I have been keeping on track for around 1 year and my recovery time is getting shorter! I also switched to being an Ovo-Vegetarian and LOVE it, check out www. vegetarianbodybuilder. com
I just signed back up to be an Advocare distributor again and am applying for dietician classes to be on the path for a full circle personal trainer. https://www.advocare.com/03102366/

Bring on the Cut Phase. Tough times never last but Tough People do. Man, I must be one TOUGH Woman of Power! Hooah!
Goal (Long):
2008:
May~~ The Cut phase begins, and not soon enough
I finally got my max reps logged. Now I have to cardio my ass off. Park the minivan and grab the bike...everywhere I go cycling....
Jan~~ DUMP THE CHUMP AND GRAB THE WEIGHT! **** CARDIO, IT'S OVER-RATED, I WANT TO LIFT!
Heavy/ Bulk/ Time to get big. Strengthen my weak joints to prevent re-injury (Right Elbow and Knee) Jump start my Advocare business. Get Dietitian/ Trainer Classes started and my Spanish Certification Completed. Start or Arabic. Goal: Never have to say I don't have the money for my protein and supplements this year. Work towards 2009 Goal of Financial independence and living on my OWN.
2007: I eventually want to become a Drill Sgt, drop my run time to less than 16 minute 2 miles, and also compete in at least one competition.(I think an 8 minute mile is reasonable, I know there are ppl who do 6-7, whatever...) Do a long distance run of 10 miles(currently at 6 miles)My push-ups I always smoke the hell out of them, I am already at max for my PT age range at the test we had in May.
I think Fitness comp. is out because I lift too heavy for that.
I think regular competitions are out because I am not willing to sacrifice my health for big veins and crazy un-natural mass. I think it's cool and all. Just not my cup of tea. Maybe a natural bodybuilding competition? I will have to research it and figure it out. I better be watching what kind of supplements I am trying out then too.
I am excited to start up the Advocare supplement business here in Phoenix, I miss all my customers in Anaheim already but thanks God I have the website and tickets to Disneyland and Magic Mountain, so that I have an excuse to come back more often to California. Phoenix is...
I think you are doing great & if you want to get rid of bodyfat and also get into great shape I suggest you check out Body for Life. It is a 12-week body transformation program that gives you a great cardio routine as well as weightlifting program and a nutrition plan that works. My wife (bodyspace: judimax) went from a size 12/14 to a 4/6 and I lost over 50 lbs going from 36 to 10% bodyfat in just 12 weeks with the BFL program. Let us know if you would like more info.
Hi, I saw you on another person profile. And I think it will only take you 6 months to get ready for a Amatuer competition. Just have to be strict in your diet and stick to it. I know you can because I saw that you were a soldier like I am.
