at age 18, started walking & watching what I ate but started lifting weights in mid 08 on and off, now I am really getting serious : )
Why I Love It:
It makes me feel in control, results are real and it is a stress reliever...somehow clothes look better when you work out too ; )
How I Stay Motivated:
magazines,workout logs & blogs, talking to other like minded people and my boyfriends is also obsessed with working out so he drags me with him when I dont feel like working out!

What would you attempt to do if you knew you could not fail?

Increase stamina so I can run for 30 minutes a day, improve my diet so I can lower my body fat %, weighttrain consistantly so I can tone up. Ideally all this would happen BEFORE Summer 09 is over : )
What is your favorite "healthy" dessert? Give the recipe if applicable.
a handful of your fav fruit drizzled with a tablespoon (or 2 if your feelin naughty) of maple syrup! If you really wanna be bad, add a scoop of vanilla soy icecream ( low fat!!!)

I like to wear yoga pants and light weight ribbed cotton tank tops

What tips would you give to others to help them stay motivated over the long-term?
Have a lot of short term goals, like a one month, then 6 month, then 1 year. Also keep a journal and compete against yourself or friends. Always have something to "get in shape" for like an event or even just the summer, winter or whatever. There is always something going on, in your life or in general like valentines day or spring or anything! I joined a gym, I will be on vacation for a few months and was getting very little exercise in, so now I have 3 days under my belt, joined 3 days ago so so far very good!
