How I Started:
I am sad to say at times I used to be fit back in high school and then got bigger as I had more and more jobs that were less active and more sitting on my butt. Last year I decided to go on a cruise and realized I was too big to do some of the excursions. That was it! I was done with being a fat girl and ignoring my unhappiness at my size. I called around and joined up at my local Golds. With the help of some trainers for the first 6 months or so, I found my way into finally getting into shape.
Why I Love It:
I love the way I feel after I leave the gym and have had a good workout. I love when I am at the gym and feeling powerful. I can look in the mirror and like what I see when I am in clothes.
How I Stay Motivated:
Every day when I look in the mirror and see how far I still have to go and how far I have come. I am also very lucky to have a great support system with my friends, family and at the gym.
BB Accomplishments:
Realizing I couldn't buy shirts at Lane Bryant anymore, that I can go into any store and buy a shirt!

another week down. I start school next week and I am trying to decide if I want to continue doing 5 days a week or cut it back down to 4 and reduce the time I am in the gym. I love being at the gym though and so often its the way I relax. My only thoughts are that I just keep plugging ahead...
