Background

When I Started: Mar 2005
HOW I STARTED:

I was at 220 and hated myself. I decided to take control of my life. I now weigh 122 thanks to running 35-40 miles a week and lifting 3 days.

WHY I LOVE IT:

It makes me feel good about me.

Day 1----Here We Go Again

Good Afternoon Well it's Day 1 of the "New Plan"...I guess it really isn't a new plan since i have tried to do it before and never stuck with it. My main problem is i can never get it in my head that hours and hours of running/cardio doesn't make you lose fat. When really all i need to do is look in the mirror to see it's true. I think that i need to do cardio everyday and when i don't i feel like something is missing. I guess because it's what i have always done. Isn't that what they say the definition of insanity is...doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different res...

Stability Ball Dolphin 3x10 BB Rows 53# 3x10 Bosu Squats 8# medicine ball 3x10 Ballet Squats 20# 3x10 Leg Raises on Bosu  5# leg weights 3x8 Stability Ball hamstring Curl 3x10 Stability Ball Lunge 20# 3x8 Frogs On Bosu 3x10 I did my lunges with a stability ball today to baby my knee a bit...I had a little bit p ain on the top of my knee cap. Iced it last night and it feels better today but i took the day off from running just to be sure. I think i over did my runs last week.

righter I love popcorn too! Chocolate covered popcorn is just mean to bring near me. There was a cool popcorn place at the airport--they had all kinds of flavors! Apple, cherry, blueberry, candy cane! It was crazy. lol Dec 26, 2011 8:46am

righter I'll definitely let you know when I open the new journz! :) I hear ya on the holiday food. My mom brought two bags of chocolate covered popcorn to my house! I went a little nuts with it and now I'm feeling the fluff! My mom loves to cook big meals and she will be here until Jan 2. Guess I'm about to find out how fat I can get in a week. LOL. righter Hey! Merry Christmas! Hope you have had a wonderful day. I've been doing a bit of yoga, but also experimenting with swiss balls, lol.
