How I Started:
I've always wanted to start training since I was a teenager but never had the money to do it. So eventually with a job I had enough money to pay for my membership and ever since I've been going as much as possible.
Why I Love It:
Weight training is always a challenge, and seeing how your body changes under stimulus is good.
How I Stay Motivated:
Setting goals I know I can achieve, meeting new people and hearing out how they got to where they are.

What is the one tip you would give somebody who is just getting started?
Patience, the body will change to what you want it to be with proper training and diet.

Quads:

Leg press:  3 sets of 15 reps.  Max weight at last set: 470 pounds.
Lunges w/dumbbells: 3 sets of 15 reps.  Max weight at last set:  50 pounds.
Smith machine squat: 3 sets of 15 reps.  Max weight at last set: 140 pounds.

I think I can increase weight for the next...

Man I feel ya. Ive been having so so workouts. But this week i changed up the routine and really feeling the muscles working again. Im overdue for new progress and pics. Im getting there. I want a back like yours!

Try black tea, it's proven to release fat burning catchphenes (I'll spell check that later) as long as you have it without sugar. plus a few cups of tea won't have you quite as jittery as a fat burner (cheaper too haha)

Hi, Thanks for the add! I practice a vinyasa yoga which just means it flows. It's similar to Ashtanga but not as fast. How are you liking it?
