How I Started:
Health became a number one priority for me last year(08) when I became a nursing student and realized how great working out made me feel.
Why I Love It:
Working out makes me feel good, gets my head clear; I love to have goals and being able to reach them...AWESOME FEELING!!

Goal (Long):
Lose 20lbs, get back to my old weight of 135lbs. I'd like to start entering into races to get some intense cardio started; eat healthier and feel amazing.

I wouldn't get as wrapped up around the type of carbs (so long as their complex) but the *TIMING* of your consumption to ignite maximum metabolic efficiency: Carb load *IMMEDIATELY* after fasting (sleeping 6-8 hours) and taper that off within 6 hours to ZERO carb consumption but ramp up Protien intake ... train your GI tract to burn, burn, burn!
Ok...today's meals: Breakfast-Portioned Cereal around 10; No snack; Lunch- Coffee (lol); Snack- Cheese and Crackers at your place; Dinner- What we had with at Steve's (all grease and shiz)
