Overall Goal: to hit 3x bodyweight on all my major lifts (squat,bench,deadlifts) by nationals in 2010
but for now, just rehab my shoulder so i can train for state in dec
Fit Status:
rehabing my shoulder right now, so im focusing more on getting my numbers up on the squat an deadlift right now
started in 9th grade for football, been lifting every since, arnold says lifting and getting a pump is better than sex, i dont totally agree with that, but it is close, at least you,re not expected to hold and talk to the weigts afterwards, lol
hell, u i have to talk to anyone, i just go in , start throwing up some heavy weight, and ppl just clear outta my way
Why I Love It:
i love working out because i feel alive when im in the gym, theres no better high that when im under a heavy weight, or after ive come off the treadmill after 40 mins,
How I Stay Motivated:
alotta times during the week after a 10 or 12 hour work day, i dont even feel like going to the gym, but after i get there and get on the treadmill, something changes, like a switch gets turned on inside, and after 30-40 mins on the treadmill im ready to hit it hard
only way i can explain it is the oxygen is moving thru my bloodstream more than it was before

How many reps per set do you usually do? Why?
start with ten till i get to my work set, then its 3-5 on bench, squats i start with 10, till i get to my work sets, then its 10 sets of 2, w/30-45 sec rest
deadlifts i work up to a single, then come back down and do 2 heavy sets of 5 off the floor, then 2 more sets of 5 off a 4 inch block
most other exercises i keep heavy as i can for 10 reps, start with ten till i get to my work set, then its 3-5 on bench, squats i start with 10, till i get to my work sets, then its 10 sets of 2, w/30-45 sec rest

How long do you rest between sets on average? Why?
