I was skin and bones during my childhood. I got a weight bench at age 14, but used it VERY rarely. Being 6'3 and weighing only 160 lbs., I finally decided to seriously take up weight training when I moved to Virginia in 2002.
Why I Love It:
It's a great way to eliminate stress and I love seeing my body change. It's a very addictive activity that allows you to stay healthy and fit.
How I Stay Motivated:
Putting together routines from magazines, seeing people in my gym, checking myself in the mirror, bodybuilding shows, and all the help I've gotten from people on here.
BB Accomplishments:
Developed a more leaner, athletic look and have put on almost 30 lbs of muscle. It's a start.
Compete and do well in the NGA Potomac Cup (July 2010)
Goal (Long):
I want to ultimately weigh about 200-215lbs. The combination of my height and body type (ECTOMORPH) makes it extremely hard for me to put on size. Once I accomplish this, I'd like to do a competition.
I went to a bb contest in MD with a friend Saturday evening. Lots of great competitors and gorgeous models. The outcome was expected as the winner's size and definition was off the chain. However, this show had a male fitness model division and my friend and I were very surprised at...
Workouts are finally starting to get back on track! I'm pretty excited about that. I'm trying a few new approaches, given my limited equipment. LOL! Looking forward to seeing great results on the competition front next year. Keep up the good work.
Naw I'm in the Pentagon, the big building across the street...lol Ok so you have been working out across the street from me!! So when you looking to compete??
depends....I did that GMV thing for about 6 weeks....then I'm trying this for a little longer...because this one I'm incorporating alot of variations in all my exercises.
cool cool man, yo that's good that you got an ex-competitor to help you out...you won't have to go through the trail and error like some people...bro I'm good, just trying to find what works for me training wise, just got finish with GMV last week.. so next week I'm switching it up.
