I began working out in 1998, starting at a scrawny 140 lbs. I knew very little about diet and exercise, so I just started eating everything in sight and lifting heavy. Fast forward a few years, I'm weighing 225. Sure, I was strong, but I was fat too. This was unacceptable, so I began to really study bodybuilding and nutrition. Now I'm around 185, and I look and feel much better.
Why I Love It:
Bodybuilding isn't just something I do as a hobby, it's a way of life for me. If I'm not at work, you'll probably find me either working out or checking out bodybuilding.com or davedraper.com.
How I Stay Motivated:
I just think back to what I used to be. I know I don't want to be that again.
