I've been involved with Shotokan Karate since I was little. In high school, I joined the marching band, and continued that through my college career. I am still doing Shotokan, and I just love working out!
Why I Love It:
It's great to kick butt at armwrestling, and I love martial arts. I also strive to live a healthy lIfestyle.
How I Stay Motivated:
Taking pictures of my progress. When I see progress, and feel progress, I want to work harder. I also talk nutrition and fitness with a coworker. I don't feel so alone when I have someone I can chat with about it!. That's another reason I love this site!
BB Accomplishments:
I plan to compete in my first Ms. Figure competition in July 2010, and I'll also be competing in statewide and national karate tournaments.

Since the last picture, taken with as similar angle as possible, I see improvements in my lats, chest, and traps. Biceps are about the same... but I'm breaking my plateau as of now, and hitting the gym 4x a week, karate 2x, one full rest day. I will break past this!
Not much, but improvements in shoulders and lats, I believe
Get in figure model shape while increasing strength/flexibility for karate!
Goal (Long):
I would, after gaining a bit more muscle, get down to 13-14% body fat. I am active in martial arts, and I want to be in optimal physical condition for it. I love being strong, and I love the look of muscle on me! Unfortunately, due to a disease that i have, it is very difficult for me to gain muscle weight and keep fat off. I have to work very hard for the smallest noticeable gains. Fortunately, though, for my size, my strength is tremendous. Though muscle size gains don't show quickly, I increase in strength quickly. I just want my body to show what I know I can do! I would, perhaps, like to compete in a Ms. Figure competition!
Up until last week, every gain in shape, size, and strength was done at home through my own bodyweight conditioning and a few dumbells. I got to the point, though, that I realized I needed to get in a gym to progress like I want to, especially to compete. I figured my lifting stats would...
Good morning! That's great. You have great lines. Your waist is nice. You have plenty of time to train for both. And it sounds fun. What level are you?
In life u gotta do what makes feel complete.I have had to be a people pleaser most of my life.Till now.Be u and embrace it.Just be kind if others dont get it.Not ur problem.Hope this helps.
