After getting married, having a child and another on the way, I finally made the decision to transform my body and be a healthy person. My wife and children deserve that.
Why I Love It:
It's hard work for sure, but it's so easy to forget how crappy we feel when we are not working out vs. how great we feel when we do. NEVER forget how great it feels when you work out.
How I Stay Motivated:
I think about my daughter and baby on the way. I want to see them grow up.
For several weeks, I have really stepped it up in terms of training and nutrition. My meal timing has been spot on, I have not missed a workout in weeks. I am really beggining to "feel" the changes. Despite this, I have been a bit down. You see, I only lost a pound two weigh-ins ago...
Right now I have a pretty ambitous program for someone my size but I'm loving it so far. I do some type of cardio 5 days a week in the early morning. Three times a week, that is followed by weight training. Twice a week I practice martial arts in the evening, Tae Kwon Do in particular.
You can get back on the program. Anytime just don't think about it. Just focus on the end result. That is what has helped me. I have drifted a bit myself over Thanksgiving with the diet. I am back on it. The holidays and this time of year are hard. Do what you can do and don't worry about it.
Hey! How are you doing? I am finishing P90X and getting ready for another round! Did you complete Chalean Extreme? I hear it is a great program as well.
Plateaus suck. I worked hard from June to Aug and lost 3 lbs, gained 4 then lost 3.Changing up your workouts, days, doing intervals and working on the food-was the info I got on how to break it. I started P90X to do that. Now I am losing weight. Just keep on plugging away- the weight will fall off!
"Yeah buddy light weight."
I appreciate you checking up man, I just started back to college last week, so working fulltime and working out crazy doesn't leave me much time but the plan from steve is going well. Hows things on your end going, got that black belt yet.
Yay! I kept hearing positive things about P90X & saw an infomercial and was hooked. I like P90X so far- I just recd it this week. Following their nutrition plan and workouts.. So far so good!
Hey thanks for the encouragement!! Everything seems to be working alright. It's finally getting to the point that other people are starting to see the changes too. Peace and stay focused!!
