About 8 years ago, after delivering my third child, and weighing in at about 180,...I knew there had to be a change. I started running, running and more running. I lost a total of 47 pounds...while never picking up a set of weights, which resulted in the whole "skinny fat" thing. This major cardio routine has remained over the course of the last 7 years...while I was maintaining my weight, my bodyshape left alot to be desired:) That's when a friend of mine introduced me to weightlifting at the begining of 2009 and have been hooked ever since!
Why I Love It:
I have found that strength training, along with my other fitness interests, has changed my body in ways(still have a LONG way to go) that I've never seen before. Increase in strenth and energy as well. I need it with three kids to take care of!
How I Stay Motivated:
This part is really not hard for me, honestly...I've always enjoyed fitness and it's my sanity. Just have realized I was doing all the wrong things all of these years...
BB Accomplishments:
Everyday that I go and hit those weights is a personal accomplishment for me:)

Hey girlie!! Quick question.. I have tried for the life of me to embed a youtube video in one of my blogs but it won't work. What's the secret?? I know you have to put the [youtube] [/youtube] before and after right? Any help is greatly appreciated! :) How are things by the way?

Hey!! Long time no talk! I didnt do anything too special. Just clean eating and lifting. I drink a lot of water and really watch my sodium intake. That seems to work really well for me. How are things going with you?? You are looking great!!!
