Background
Used to be 220lbs by 2004 when I just decided to do something rather than moaning about my looks. At first it was diet only, then I tried lifting weights... and now I'll never stop, ever!
The gym is a place to stay focused and leave everything behind for a couple of hours to just achieve goals on your own skin, priceless!

Nitric: 3-4 caps pre-workout
Creatine: 10-4.5 gr a day, mostly pre-workout

After-easter workout routine update: The final cut!
Posted in Training : Apr 13, 2012 1:05pmOk, after road testing the routing twice me and my buddy made the final adjustments and this is the final version.
The basics are still the 5x5x5 which looks like this:
Barbell bench press Deadlifts Pullups Barbell full squats Push press
Small note: the push press is actually done by starting with your barbell on your legs in what would be the final position for the deadlifts. Then it's "snatched" to shoulder weight before being pushed into final position. Not sure about the actual name, if anyone knows tell me, just out of c

Posted in Supplements : Apr 04, 2012 2:58pmJust in from my old PT-buddy at the gym!
He suggests (as an experiment) doing one month a 3 times a week full-body program that should go like this:
Bench press Dips Squats Deadlifts Pull-ups
all of them performed in 5 sets of 5 reps. And that's it.
Not sure yet, usually such low reps don't really kill the muscles that much but hey! for last mass hurrah before summer could sound nice (sorta Dorian Yates-ish kinda stuff... whatever)...
Stay tuned for updates & cheers!

Give and take a few centimeters I pretty much achieved those goals (call it cheating, I'll call it optimism if you don't mind). This allowed me to reach a few conclusions: 1) the proportions of the body parts and overall symmetry are excellent, but 2) my chest definitely needs a lil' more girth to look the way I feel it sh
