When I Started:
2003
How I Started:
At age 13 I was fat and tired of it so I started running and lifting which continued on till High School when I found martial arts and I dropped the running and lifting to focus on that. In 1992 I became an AAU USA All-American National Champion, shortly after my teacher moved to Florida and I stopped training.
After High School I went to College and worked full time not working out at all for the next 10 years or so I got fat (not huge only 190 but mostly fat). So in 2003 I was looking at pictures of a vacation my girlfriend at the time and I took at the beach... I was disgusted at what I seen and joined the gym the next day. I lost 25 pounds and and a lot of body fat pretty quickly and have been slowly adding on muscle each year since... I'm now 210.
Why I Love It:
Progress!!!
How I Stay Motivated:
"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!"
-- Philippians 4:13
BB Accomplishments:
I would say my biggest accomplishment would be sticking to my diet and training schedule for so long.

i fight with demons of doubt.
with my past failures, with my injuries,
with that unrelenting voice that tells me to stop, but i am a fighter and one thing will always be certain.
I will be victorious!
There will be plenty of obstacles in life, don't allow yourself to become one of them.
hell yeah dude, we need to hit back. I think we are the only ones in the gym that will do deads! Chris keeps wussing out. I got your white flood btw! maybe i will see you in the gym today. If not i got it next time i see ya.
It's going good. I am changing it up though. Giong to make some major cuts and change it up..At least during June until I hopefully get clearnce from the ankle.
Man, I've tried to talk to the different supplement companies about starting something along those lines. All they want to do is pimp the crap they keep making. Like everything else, it's about marketing and money...not about making healthy stuff that works. It's not my game.
Yeah, ther'es a couple of natural protein powders out there that are ok. The ON version is still one of my faves though...but I'm not married to it. There's still others out there I haven't tried. How 'bout you?
No, I'm not a 100% organic eater. My hat's off to anyone that can do that though. I try to eat pretty clean and natural though. I do pretty good with that, but sometimes there's not much of an alternative. How 'bout you?
Thank you for what you said.I started working out just before we called a break, once the break happen I was full speed me me me and my fitness. It just that this news kind of got to me so it just threw a twist in my plan. I will not let it cut it, but I needed a pause. I am planning to go back on Mon whether I want to or not, I prepaid my trainer and told him if I dont go to charge me, so that way I will go so I dont waster $75/hour, you know.
