How I Started:
Well it really started when a best friend and i went halves on a bench and some weights. We set them up in his garage and enjoyed keeping fit listening to music and we did it because we loved it.
Why I Love It:
The fact i am changing in to the guy i have always wanted to be.
How I Stay Motivated:
my son the loss of my daughter makes me not want to waste a life. And beating testicular cancer in 03.

personally too me is sticking to weights for a year.
Been doing weights for a while now and i dont really watch my diet so am really gonna watch what i eat as need to shed some fat. I want to do a solid years body building to get as big as possible without getting fat.
Brian is one hell of a guy he is allways fighting with him self mentally and physically and the fact he is still on this site shows you how much he wants it. I find him inspirational and a really good friend.
Can you believe my luck i have had a good week cutting lost a few pounds and bmi was down and now i have got tonsillitis. I am just gonna follow my diet and rest up so i can shift it as soon as possible so i can get back to cardio and cutting i hate set backs but i allways seem to get them....
Thanks for checking in Jon. Training is going well, just started second week of a 5X5 training program, going to do this for 12 weeks and see what happens. Diet still crap at times, got to do better there.

Hi Jon brutha Im so glad ya family is doing well. And your rite bro one slip . Ill be back to my training and diet this week forsure . Just finished a 5 km run uphill and absolutely shattered and did my chest this morning . I guess i felt guilty lol Hows the diet and training going?
Hi jon brutha im doing okay i slipped up in the weekend though. I had afew too many beers & Alcohol lol Need to get back on track and eat clean as. Life has been okay I struggled abit after the competition. just trying to set new goals for 2009 and beyond. How are ya doing brutha ? hows the family?

Hey thanks for the tips, hadn't really looked into creatine products before wasn't really sure about them, i see what you mean about being younger and body recovering quicker, i'm trying to eat the best i can with living at home and i do seem to be making progress slowly maybe i should look into creatine further.
yeah man when I did chemo I did 4 sessions of E.P since I refused to take BEP due to lung scaring. But yeah dude it sucks but I really need to reach my goals so I decided to make a site and blog everything since I would love to one day do some motivational speaking. But first i need to reach my goals and document everything. I'm still working on the site but I hope to have it up within a day or two.
thanks bro! I met Marc Lobliner yesterday and that dude is pretty damn chill. But for the past 2 months i've been out of MMA due to my job promotion. I fully dedicated myself so i could do the best job i could. I decided to drop 24 Hour fitness due to the fact that it's really packed and i'm a horrible self trainer lol (i procrastinate a lot) so I decided to just dedicate myself to MMA since that was my goal I set myself after chemotheray. So.. yeah i'm cutting too :(

I think it won't be until 2011, but I would like to get on stage one day definitely. Right now though I don't know if I have the mind set to get into it right away.

Ahah dude :/ i have quite a slim build that i don't seem to pack on much like fat and stuff but yeah if i see my bf rising then i'll start to do some proper hardcore cardio or something.. cheers man keep working hard and i will to :)
Hey Jon your welcome my friend and its all good bro. yep fish was apart of my diet for my competition and especially salmon and snapper that and green beans. The only thing i found tough was the food was bland with just fish chicken and green veges . Worst was the egg whites lol Anywayz i will e mail ya diet when i first started okay .
