How I Started:
At about 38 years old, I decided it was time to start doing things to be able to stick around and be active with my kids. Now I am hooked, and can't imagine my life without weightlifting and new goals and challenges.
Why I Love It:
It's fun, it's always a new challenge, I feel younger, look younger, and it's nice to keep up with my teenagers.
How I Stay Motivated:
I've been at it too long to quit now - I don't want to ever go backwards.
BB Accomplishments:
Nothing major - for me, just sticking with it for as long as I have is a good one. My initial goal was just to bench 200lbs for the 1st tima, and I have accomplished that - and my current goal 245.

Another self photo from end of Nov 08. Bad picture, but needed to get something up here to see future progress. Currently 155 and trying to gain up to 160 with minimal fat gain.

little tip for the sp and size on. Drink the sp250, yet leave a bit in the bottom 1 inch or so, then add in your sizeon and more water. It cuts the sweetness for me (as a person who isnt into sweet too much)

Thanksgiving was the same for me, except my downfall was the pumpkin pie and beer. lol I was working all day for a lighting event downtown and I needed a beer after I got off and they were free... so hey! why not?
