How I Started:
I started lifting in high school, mainly for wrestling. I continued sport-specific lifting while wrestling at the University of Wisconsin. I ended up injuring my back during my fourth year, which effectively ended my career. Since college, I lifted on and off for a while, but then really got back into it in the fall of 2008 and haven't looked back. I was cut down to the low 160s in December trying to see if I could fight at 155, but it just didn't happen, so I turned my attention to getting as big as possible.
Why I Love It:
I like seeing the changes, both drastic and minute, and physical and mental, that come with lifting. I was pretty unfocused before I got back into lifting, but now my life is dialed in to the minute.
How I Stay Motivated:
Seeing progress and finding ways to meet my goals keeps me going. Seeing how out of shape, weak, fat, etc. most people are and wondering how they can be content like that.

I want to get to a solid 230 over the next few years.
Goal (Long):
I just finished cutting the bit of fat I gained this spring and am pretty happy with the look. However, it's right back to work, hitting another bulking cycle. My target is ~215-220 by the end of August (and 210 after my cut), which should be very doable as I was up to 210 this spring. No measurements (besides for weight) until August 31... I want to surprise myself.
