I was a long distance runner in High School, but didn't start weight training until college. I got to my ideal size and weight, but then the real world, a job, and life in general changed things.
Why I Love It:
I love the high from working out. I love the feeling of exhuastion after a workout...it is fulfilling. I love to watch my waist shrink and my shoulder, legs, and arms grow. I also like the increased energy levels and general healthy feeling that comes along with a steady workout routine.
How I Stay Motivated:
This website definitely helps, knowing other people struggle and succeed also. I have started taking pictures to see my progress since it is hard to tell sometimes when you see yourself in the mirror every day.
BB Accomplishments:
So far...55 lbs of FAT lost, but a lot more to lose.

After 2 months off, I am back on to get rid of this body fat and see the muscle that is underneath. When I get there, time to bulk.
Goal (Long):
I want to have a body that people admire. In the office/executive world I see guys (including myself) that are overweight and stressed out. They say "I don't have time to workout." I am trying to make a change. I make time to workout and want people to look at me as a role model. I want to lose all of the fat I have and have a body fat around 7-9%, I want to be muscled up and in good physical shape.
I completely respect Josh and find him to be an excellent example of how I should live me life. He eats cleanly, watches what he puts into his body, and trains consistently.
Well...due to a meeting that went over its alloted time by over an hour, my schedule for the day was shot and I had no time to work in my workout...especially since it is just my son and I on Tuesdays, I have to drop him off, pick him, up, dinner, bath, everything as my wife is trying to get...
So very long, I finally got back in my basement gym just 2 weeks ago. So my family life is great but my mental/physical health was suffering. I already feel better after just 2 weeks. More like new me and less like the old me! What's new with you? How is life?
thanks man i will right now im trying to bulk up a bit for the winter and gain some weight on my bench and stuff and it is working so far. weigh 178 and was repping 235 bench
4 sets of 4 the other day.
that sucks man im sorry to hear that. back injuries are the worst i tweaked mine a couple months ago dion shrugs and it held me down for a long time. yeah i have really ramped up the cardio recently to like twice a day and its been breaking me off but the results are undeniable. give me a good sense of wellbeing after i do it too.
