When I Started:
Nov, 2007
How I Started:
From 2006 to 2007 I gained 20-25lbs, weighing the most I ever had..190lbs. So about July of '07 I started jogging and trying to eat better, and I started seeing results. Then in November I decided I wanted to join a gym. But it wasn't till March that I really got into weightlifting.
Why I Love It:
I love how I feel, the extra confidence I have, the mirror, I love how I look after a tough workout.
How I Stay Motivated:
bodyspace is very motivating, seeing all of the great bodies and transformations.
Well, I almost done with my vacation, after a great week at the beach, and after a great week of nothing. It's almost time to get back into the daily grind. I am excited to get back to the gym after my 2 week break, but I needed it to recharge the batteries. I am going to try to bulk for a...
this is my first attempt to bulk...so its a little scary! but i'm up a pound this morning so thats exciting! hey, if you can stay lean AND eat a litle yummy food good for you---enjoy it :D
L-Glutamine is the main amino acid used in protein metabolism - helping your muscles absorb it more efficiently...like cellular fuel for muscles! Supplementation while trying to build muscle helps because Glutamine is used by the entire body it is naturally occuring in our bodies...therefore if its being used elsewhere then its more likely u will have muscle breakdown instead of growth and recovery. Wow I think I have been on this site reading too much LOL
Just last week I started having 2 EAS protein shakes a day and then all of a sudden my amount of weight I could do on everything increased a lot! I call it magic powder now!! Just keep eating clean high protein foods -maybe add Glutamine before bed. And get enough sleep at night too!
Oh your progress pics are great! When I came on this site I learned I needed to lift HEAVY weights and its made a big difference...I used to never really get sore at all after weights because they were 5lb dumbbells!! Now I go for the 20's!
